Return Policy (Request RMA)

Unless noted below or in the product description, all products can be returned directly to KEYTROLLER, Inc within 30 days from the date of invoice. Items returned must first be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. RMA numbers are valid for 15 days only. Please allow 2-4 weeks to process refunds and credit your account. Our Return Policy for software is consistent with the manufacturer’s license agreement. We do not accept returns of Print heads, Bar Code Media, Software or Symbol Service Contracts. For certain items all sales are final and returns are not available, see product descriptions for information.

To receive credit, all products must 1) be returned in their original packaging, 2) include all manuals, cables, warranty cards, etc., 3) be clean, without scratches and resealed in a factory fresh condition. All products must be returned double boxed, with no markings or writing on the original box. If a product shows signs that the entire product and packaging was removed from its original box, a refund may be denied resulting in shipment of the product back to the customer. Freight charges are not refundable. Customer is responsible for shipping costs on returned items. If the returned item meets all the above requirements, it will be accepted and a restocking fee will be applied depending on the sale value of the returned items:

General Inventory Restocking Fees:

10% of purchase price (minimum $15) if a product(s) of equal or greater value is purchased as a replacement

10% of purchase price (minimum $35) if no replacement is purchased

*on orders over $2500, a restocking fee of up to 20% may be applied in certain instances

Professional Services Restocking Fees:

All professional services, including custom programming, card programming, and label printing are non-refundable.

Refusal Fees:

A $25.00 refusal fee will apply to all items that are not accepted by customer upon delivery.

Freight charges:

Freight charges for all returns are not refundable. Customer is responsible for shipping costs on returned items.

DOA Policy

If a product arrives Dead On Arrival (DOA), contact us immediately or fill out the online RMA request form. Please see manufacturer warranty for our DOA policy. Full refunds are only given to non-functional products. Customer is responsible for shipping costs on returned items unless noted otherwise by KEYTROLLER, LLC.

Shipping

Orders with a gross weight over 150lbs with a shipping method faster then ground may be subject to additional shipping fees. You will be contacted by representative to confirm additional fees.

Orders less than $25.00 will be charged a $10.00 Shipping Fee.

All orders with overnight shipping will include additional shipping charges. Charges will be specified in the checkout page

Saturday delivery not available in all areas.

All orders to Alaska and Hawaii will ship 2-Day Air only.

All orders to Alaska and Hawaii will include a minimal additional shipping charge of $25. Depending on the items, an additional shipping charge may be required. A sales representative will contact you regarding any additional charges.

Orders to Canada may require an additional shipping charge. A sales representative will contact you regarding any additional charges.

Shipping address must be a residential or business address. We will not ship to a PO Box.

Back Ordered Items

Back ordered items are set to ship as soon as they become available. You will be contacted by email letting you know if any items are backordered. Back ordered items can be exchanged for an in stock item or canceled for a full refund. Please contact gcombs@Keytroller.com for additional help.

Demo and Return Equipment

Most demoed and returned items show very little usage with only minor scratches or blemishes. All items are fully functioning and have been tested to insure usability. These items are sold as is and a warranty is not guaranteed. Clearance items arriving Dead on Arrival (DOA) can be returned within 30 days. Items not DOA can not be returned.

Condition Guide
- Like New: Item is in original packaging, no scratches and no signs of wear
- Very Good: Item may be in original packaging, possible light scratches and signs of wear
- Good: Item has scratches and signs of wear
- Functional: Item has scratches and may have dents or other cosmetic blemishes.

Limited Warranty

KEYTROLLER, LLC warrants its products will be free from defective workmanship and materials, and agrees that it will, at it's option, either repair the defect or replace the defective product or part thereof at no charge to the purchaser for the period set forth below.

KEYTROLLER, LLC shall be liable only to correct defects in the product itself; and not for any damage to equipment and property or for injury which may result from or be incidental to or a consequence of such a defect. KEYTROLLER, LLC is also not liable for travel time, or excess installation time. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations set forth in this document may not apply to you.

Warranty period for this product: 180 days parts ONLY. Defective product should be returned to the factory for replacement on repair. Neither the sales personnel nor the seller nor any other person is authorized to make any warranties other than those described herein, or to extend the duration of any warranties beyond the time period described therin. KEYTROLLER, LLC recommends the contracting of a qualified dealer or mechanic for the installation of it's products.

Exclusions:

1) The warranty extends only to the original purchaser of this period.

2) Damages resulting from misuse, neglect, vandalism, tampering, weather damage, improper installation or unauthorized service.

3) Conditions resulting from a defect in a component or part which is not part of the KEYTROLLER device.

4) These devices are weather resistant, however, it is not designed to be submerged or high pressure washed; failure to protect the unit from high pressure washing will void the warranty.

5) Improper application and installation of this product: Before installing and using, the user should determine the suitability of the product for it's intended use; the user assumes all risks and liability in connection therewith.

6) Improper programming of the settings of the device.


WARNING: It is the purchaser's (and/or end user's) responsibility to determine the suitability of any product for the intended application and to insure that it is installed and guarded in accordance with all federal, state, local and private safety and health regulations, codes and standards. Due to the unlimited variety of machines, vehicles and equipment on which our devices are installed and the numerous standards which are frequently the subject of varying interpretation, it is impossible for personnel to provide expert advice regarding the suitability of a given device for a specific application. The flexibility of our products to be installed on such a wide range of equipment allows us to offer thousands of potential configurations. We can advise you of the various features that are available and you can examine (demo) different models to determine what best model (if any) meets your needs. It is imperative that the customer's engineering department should be the qualified experts in their own product field and application of our device. If the product will be used in a safety critical application, the customer must undertake appropriate testing and evaluation to prevent injury to the user of the device. Please contact us directly if this warning is unclear to you.

Where to obtain warranty: The device is not field serviceable, but a field replacement can be made. Should service be requested and no problem found, then a reasonable fee will be charged for this service.
