CYBERWATCH LAN device is a self-contained Wi-Fi wireless hour meter. It has four internal hour meter/counter inputs and a fifth hour meter/counter triggered by a vibration sensor. Inputs one through four can be set to count on a high or low input signal. Device can report hour meter and counter values via email messages automatically. Interval may be configured in increments from one hour to once per day. Destination email address is programmable.

CYBERWATCH LAN contains an internal 802.11 B, G, N, 2.4 GHz wireless access point. This can be connected using a wireless capable device, such as a laptop computer, tablet, or smartphone. This internal access point remains active while the device is connected to external wireless network infrastructure (802.11 B, G, N, 2.4 GHz). The internal and external wireless access point and network settings can be configured using a web browser accessing the device’s internal web server. This is possible using the internal access point and the external wireless network infrastructure connection.

A user can access the internal web page displays of the device’s hour meters and counters and the settings of the device at any time - using either the internal wireless access point or an external wireless infrastructure network connection. Real time values of the hour meters and counters can be seen at any time by direct access to the device.

The emailed on-schedule reports are another way to gather readings of the hour meters and counters. If the importation of the wireless hour meter or counter data is needed, this can be simply accomplished by the scanning of an email inbox by the target software, and either a scraping via scripted capture of the data or via an input template provided by the target software maker for the purpose of importing data transmitted via email messages. Alternatively, the current hour meter and counter values can be scraped using similar scripting, and the immediate data readings transferred to the target application; this scripting and the templates must be provided by the user, or the vendor of the target software package.

Simpler solutions can be accomplished if data need only be stored in a spreadsheet by using Virtual Basic within Outlook (or other language) routines to scan an Exchange or other email inbox and scrape and transform the data that way; again this must be provided by the user or the vendor of the target software package.CYBERWATCH LAN device is a self-contained Wi-Fi wireless hour meter. All hour meter data is transmitted via email on a preset schedule and is configured on screens (examples in images). You can set the email frequency by minimum of once per hour to maximum time of once per day.

Once these emails reach their destination, the client can:

  1. Read the data and manually remove it as required
  2. Emails with usage data are scanned, parsed and imported by a script (third party application) which points it to the proper destination. http://www.emailparser.com/
